NSITF Christian Fellowship Thanks God for Abundant Grace.

The Christian Fellowship of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) had its annual End-of-the-Year Thanksgiving Service last Friday.

The special annual event, with the theme, "Abundant Grace" was organised to thank God for His mercies and grace throughout the year  held at Fellowship's Chapel at the corporate headquarters of the Fund in Abuja.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive of the Fund, Barrister Olúwaṣeun Faleye welcomed the guests. He reminded all that,

The guest minister Pastor Marshall Jagaba

"It is indeed a good thing to give thanks, because the Bible says in all things give thanks. That simply means either good or bad, so long as we are alive, we should always learn to give thanks."

Reminiscing on the year 2025, the MD represented by Mr Jonah Nedamanya, General Manager, General Administration and Services(GAS) said, "I know we all have had our fair share of challenges, but by his grace and mercy we have been able to overcome for us to be counted among the living today."

The MD/CE prayed God to guide and protect all staff "throughout this festive season and bring us back next year refreshed and in good health as we continue to work together for the progress of the Fund, as our primary source of income."

The Guest Minister Pastor Marshall Jagaba of Family Worship Centre, Apo, titled his message, "Abundant Grace" in line with the theme and took  his text from 2 Corinthians 9:8-12.

He said  "Our dependence is totally on God. God is interested in the motivation behind our testimony, expression of gratitude for his faithfulness and mercies."

"God's abundant Grace is unequal, undeserving." Pastor Jagaba submitted.

He stated that "One dimension of thanksgiving is the one we give to God while the other is when we are able to cause Thanksgiving in the lives of others."

He concluded that "Thanksgiving is the highest expression of our faith."

Prayers

In a vote of thanks render on his behalf, the Executive Director Administration NSITF, Barrister Samaila Abdu thanked "everyone who has made today’s end-of-year thanksgiving service a truly uplifting and memorable one."

"We gather under the beautiful theme “Abundant Grace,” and indeed, we have seen that grace at work, through our lives, our families, our workplace, and through the unity we share as a chapel and as an organisation. We thank God for His faithfulness throughout the year, for the victories both seen and unseen, and for carrying us through every challenge." He said.

Special renditions

"As we look forward to the new year, may God’s abundant grace remain our portion. May it strengthen us, guide our decisions, and uplift our organisation to greater heights." The ED represented by the Deputy General Manager Human Resources, Mrs Grace Benson prayed.
